Here are some links to web sites of other Shavian enthusiasts; all of them are of exceptional quality.
SHAVIAN.ORG: Page maintained by Philip Newton, a regular on the Shavian Mailing List. Hopefully will eventually turn into the central hub for all Shavian users around the world. Not much on the main page itself yet, but look down the page and find the link to "Hugh's Shavian Forum". If you want to be able to talk to other Shavian users in a familiar 'discussion forum' format, simply download and install the Shavian fonts, then take a look at the forum. An excellent way to practice. It needs some work but right now it works OK.
ROSS DEMEYERE'S SHAVIAN PAGE: A great source of Shavian communicational aids, this page contains several more Shavian fonts; they are also available for both Mac and PC platforms. This was the first Shavian-related site I found when I first got on the Internet.
BOB RICHMOND'S SHAVIAN PAGE: This page (more of a site in itself) contains links to everything related with Shavian, plus lots of example reading material. Respect to him - he's been using Shavian for more than thirty years!
ANDY CALLAWAY'S SITE: Here you can find lots of phonetics-related things, including a novel invention: a phonetic translator. With this translator you can feed in normal text and it will convert it into whichever phonetic writing system you choose - Shavian, IPA, whatever. On the whole, the site is worth the visit.
SHAVIAN MAILING LIST: This is the primary point of discussion of all things Shaw Alphabet related. Come here to introduce yourself, ask questions, practice your Shavian, etc. Started in November 2004, picking up from the older list started in January 1999.
OLD SHAVIAN MAILING LIST: The original mailing list's owner and moderator vanished years ago, and so nobody was able to manage the list and ban spammers (of which there were many towards the end). The growing spammage was the main reason for creating the new list. Although the new list obviously doesn't have much archived yet, the old list contains thousands of archived postings from the past 6 years and is definitely worth searching for information.
